Mirzamal Chagganlal Kejriwal Vidyapeeth (or MCKV) is a school in Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal, India. It was founded by Sri Shyam Sunder Kejriwal on 15 June 1997, in memory of his grandfather, the late Sri Mirzamal Kejriwal, and father, the late Sri Chaggan Lal Kejriwal.
Sri Shyam Sunder Kejriwal, an industrialist known for his philanthropy, wished to provide quality secondary education to the children of Howrah and neighbouring areas and so set up MCKV. Starting with three hundred students, today it has more than three thousand children and a teaching faculty of one hundred and sixty. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, for the ICSE and ISC examinations. It has been accredited by the British Council for the International School Award. It has also received the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. It was recently accepted for membership of the International Boys' School Coalition, a New York-based grouping of 250 boys' schools from all over the world. MCKV is among the few schools in West Bengal to have been accredited for Quality School Governance by the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), a constituent of the Quality Council of India, set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth was declared the "School of the Year 2013" by the Telegraph Education Foundation at The Telegraph Awards for Excellence in Schools ceremony held on 31 August 2013 in the Science City Auditorium, Kolkata. The school has also been ranked number 4 Day Boys School in Kolkata and West Bengal in the Education World India School Rankings 2013.
The school carries out its social responsibility in a number of ways, notable amongst which are Disha, a free night school for the underprivileged children of the neighbourhood, and the Bal Vikas Kendra, a school for differently-abled and special needs children, run in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Belur.
==School motto==
